AA seminar on the Prospects of Bangladesh–Afghanistan bilateral trade enhancement was held on 19 January at the conference room of the Bangladesh-China Friendship Exhibition Centre (Big Wave). Vice Chairman and Chief Executive of the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB), Mr. Mohammad Hasan Arif, presented the keynote paper, highlighting Bangladesh’s export landscape and the business opportunities available in Afghanistan for Bangladeshi exporters. On behalf of Afghanistan, Honorable Deputy Minister for Trade and Commerce, Mr. Ahmadullah Zahid, spoke on trade and investment opportunities in Afghanistan. An open-floor discussion also took place, providing an overview of the perspectives of both the countries.
